BAPA - Argayos database of Asturias
Want to help reduce the damage caused by landslides (argayos) in Asturias?
You just have to download this app and use it when you go through the countryside and see one of those argayos.
Your collaboration will facilitate research whose goal is to minimize the risk that cause these common phenomena in Asturias and creating economic damage and sometimes loss of life.
The purpose of the application is to provide geolocation data and images to the database Argayos the Principality of Asturias (BAPA), simplifying the sending of data that interest us (geographical location, photographs, date, etc.) for documentation This science project.
This application has been promoted and developed by the Geology Department, the Office of Transfer of Research Results and Innovation Centre (C1NN) of the University of Oviedo. It is funded by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology-Ministry of Economy and Finance.
